The Electoral Office of the State Capital of Wiesbaden ensures that elections run smoothly.

Preparation and implementation of the elections

The state capital of Wiesbaden prepares all elections (European, federal, state, and local elections, as well as elections for the Advisory Council for Foreign Residents, the Youth Parliament, the Senior Citizens’ Advisory Council, and the Cultural Advisory Council) and ensures that they run smoothly.

In addition to the general planning of election administration, the Election Office’s responsibilities include planning and organizing election workers for each election. As the headquarters of the Election Commissioner’s office, its duties also include reviewing submitted candidate nominations and preparing the election committees.

In addition, the Election Office houses the central absentee ballot distribution center, which is typically open six weeks prior to the respective election day. During this period, the service hotline is also staffed and available to citizens for election-related inquiries.

Data processing of election results

One service is the data preparation of election results according to your own wishes.

The results can be provided for the city as a whole, for individual districts or in even finer subdivisions. The costs incurred are calculated according to the amount of work involved.
