Catholic Family Education (KFB) Wiesbaden, Rheingau, Untertaunus
Catholic Family Education (KFB), based in the Roncalli House, is an institution of the Catholic Region Wiesbaden, Rheingau, Taunus in the Diocese of Limburg.
The services offered by Catholic Family Education are primarily aimed at mothers, fathers and other parents of all religions, cultures and lifestyles. We see our mission as informing, promoting, strengthening and supporting families.
The KFB organizes events, open offers and fixed courses for different age groups. The focus is on courses for families with children under the age of 3 (PEKiP, parent-child groups, baby massage), open offers (family café and breastfeeding café), offers for couples, courses to support parenting skills (KESS), the "wellcome - practical help after birth" project and exercise courses for people of all generations. During opening hours, the KFB has a safe and comfortable room for breastfeeding, feeding, changing or for spontaneous visits and exchanges.
The KFB is a recognized independent provider of child and youth welfare services and provides services in accordance with § 16 II S. 1 SGB VIII. We use the diverse participation and networking structures of the city of Wiesbaden for our work and see ourselves as co-creators within the framework of the city's youth welfare services for parent education and early help.
We rely on grants and donations for our free services. Some of our services are funded by the Parental Education and Early Help Department of the Office for Social Work and the Office for Immigration and Integration of the City of Wiesbaden.
As a Catholic-run institution, we are committed to the basic principles of Christian social ethics: personality, subsidiarity, solidarity and the common good.
