Order a birth certificate
Do you need a birth certificate? You can obtain this from the registry office that recorded the birth. The registry office issues the birth certificate from the register of births.
A birth certificate serves as proof of a person's birth. It includes the place and date of birth, the person's first and last names, and information about the parents.
You can obtain a birth certificate in the following forms:
- Birth Certificate
- Family Register
- International (multilingual) birth certificate
- Certified printout from the birth registry
A certified printout from the birth registry contains all the information that the civil registry office has recorded in connection with the birth.
You can order these documents online. We will mail them to you free of charge. If you would like to pick them up in person via our WI-Box, you can specify this during the ordering process.
