Order a death certificate
Do you need a death certificate? You can obtain this from the registry office that recorded the death. The registry office issues the death certificate from the death register.
A death certificate serves as proof of a person's death. It includes the place and date of death, the person's first and last names, and information about the spouse.
You can obtain a death certificate in the following formats:
- Death Certificate
- Family Register
- International (multilingual) death certificate
- Certified printout from the death registry
A certified printout from the death registry contains all the information that the civil registry office has recorded in connection with the death.
You can order these documents online. We will ship them to you free of charge.
If you’d like to pick up your documents in person via our WI-Box, you can specify this during the ordering process.
