If you decide to install and operate a heating oil system,
a notification to the water authority is required. The following must be reported

• the construction of underground installations (regardless of the storage quantity),
• the construction of above-ground installations with more than 1,000 liters of heating oil ("above-ground" also includes storage in the basement of a building) and
• all significant changes and the decommissioning of the system
