Food monitoring - Information on the food chain when animals are delivered for slaughter
Anyone wishing to deliver an animal for slaughter to a slaughterhouse must include at least the standard declaration on food safety in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 with the delivery documents. This declaration certifies that the slaughtered animal is suitable for the production of safe food.
