Resident parking - exemptions
In individual cases, the road traffic authority issues exemptions (StVO) from the parking privileges for residents.
Business owners and self-employed individuals—valid in the resident parking zone of their place of business—200.00 euros per year
Business owners and self-employed individuals for activities in resident parking zones—200.00 euros for one resident parking zone + 15.00 euros for each additional resident parking zone per year
Private individuals who care for or provide support to persons with at least Care Level 1, valid in the resident parking zone of the person(s) receiving care – 120.00 euros per year
Free-float car-sharing vehicles (valid for all resident parking zones) – 35.00 euros per year
Individuals with a secondary residence in the resident parking zone – 120.00 euros per year (Note: Individuals with a secondary residence who are currently in training—provided proof from the training company is submitted and the primary residence is no more than 100 kilometers away—will receive a resident parking permit from the Public Order Office
Other individuals – Fees are based on administrative costs, in accordance with the Schedule of Fees for Road Traffic Measures (GebOSt)
Station-based car-sharing vehicles – 12.50 euros per year per resident parking zone
