What drives you? What is your motto? Creating
solutions where others see problems.
What is your start-up about and what makes it special?
We stand out from the competition thanks to our clear structures, personal support for our employees, and digital processes. From resource planning to communication with the authorities, many of our processes are efficient and transparent. This allows us to avoid absences, significantly reduce the burden on families, schools, and authorities, and ensure greater stability in the children's everyday lives.
What are your first successes?
A major success was signing our first contract with a local authority – after lengthy negotiations. I am particularly proud that our first school assistants are still working for us and that we are receiving a lot of positive feedback from parents and schools.
What is your professional background?
I always wanted to build something of my own that would be meaningful and bring real added value. Through family insights into the school system and my own experiences, the opportunity suddenly arose—and I seized it. That's how AllAssist came about, out of conviction and at the right moment.
What prompted you to start your own business?
The trigger was my own experience as a school escort: I saw firsthand how many challenges there are in everyday life—especially for employees. Many things were not well organized or communicated, even though there were better solutions available. My family background in education and my knowledge of these gaps made it clear to me that I could really make a difference here. I simply seized the opportunity to build something of my own and make a positive impact.
Who advised you, who are your helpers and mentors?
Support came mainly from my personal circle – especially from my family and friends. I was also able to gather a lot of knowledge about starting a business and the hurdles along the way online.
How did you experience your first days as a founder?
The first few days were characterized by a zest for action, as I had to do everything myself and put a lot of energy into building the company. At the same time, there was uncertainty about what the next hurdle would be after each step. Nevertheless, confidence and joy prevailed because a lot of things worked out and I was making noticeable progress.
What was your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge was creating structures that worked while everything was starting up at the same time—from personnel and administration to cooperation with government agencies.
How do you draw attention to your company? What is your best marketing idea?
Since we are active in the social sector, we are not allowed to do traditional advertising by the authorities. That's why we deliberately rely on word of mouth: through good, reliable services, our offerings spread organizationally via parents, schools, and government agencies.
How did you finance your start-up?
At the beginning, I financed the start-up with my own funds. Later, a promotional loan from WI Bank secured further development and provided financial planning security for growth.
What dream would you still like to realize?
I would love to hike the Pacific Crest Trail.
