Traffic
The Wiesbaden 2030 Crafts Agenda is intended to help shape a sustainable transportation policy that takes into account the needs of the local economy.
A modern transportation policy must take into account the needs of citizens, businesses, and commuters alike. Our goal is efficient, sustainable, and reliable mobility for all of Wiesbaden.
This includes a well-functioning commercial transportation system with sufficient parking and delivery spaces for trades and service businesses. Smart city applications can help ensure these spaces are used efficiently. At the same time, we are committed to an attractive local public transit system with frequent service and reliable connections to all city districts, commercial areas, and the surrounding region.
Construction sites are necessary for maintaining infrastructure, but their impact on traffic must be minimized as much as possible through forward-looking planning. At the same time, we want to further expand alternative mobility options and the necessary infrastructure to relieve traffic congestion and promote sustainable mobility.
