The Mitsubishi Polyester Film Group has additional locations in the United States, Japan, Indonesia, and China. Its products are used in packaging as well as in a wide range of industrial applications, such as the automotive, medical, and furniture industries. Since 2014, the portfolio has included not only HOSTAPHAN® polyester films but also ALPOLIC™ composite panels. These panels, made of aluminum, steel, or titanium with a plastic core, are manufactured at a production facility built in 2025. Mitsubishi Polyesterfilm GmbH employs approximately 580 people and reports to Mitsubishi Chemical Europe, headquartered in Düsseldorf.

The City of Wiesbaden’s Industry Advisory Board is an excellent forum for establishing an active dialogue between industry and city policymakers. My involvement stems from my desire to engage in active dialogue with city policymakers and to network with industrial companies based in Wiesbaden.
