The hackathon, organized by the Department of Economy and Employment of the state capital of Wiesbaden in cooperation with Heimat Hafen, brought together start-ups, people interested in founding a company, and initiatives from the field of sustainability and impact in May 2025 to further develop innovative business ideas in a structured manner.

In a compact, collaborative work format, the participants worked on concretizing their projects. The focus was on the further development of product ideas, the creation of initial prototypes, and the design of visual concepts and communication materials – with the aim of creating solutions with a measurable impact.

The hackathon achieved concrete results and defined clear next steps for the further development of the projects. At the same time, the format impressively demonstrated how sustainable innovations can be created through collaboration, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking.
