Audio guide
For blind and visually impaired people, there is an audio guide in the sam that complements the floor guidance system. Using various objects, some of which can also be touched, the guide takes you through the history of Wiesbaden.

Audio guide
In addition to the tactile floor guidance system, the City Museum has created an audio guide together with pupils from the Leibniz School and the Theodor-Fliedner School with the support of the Media Center, the Cultural Office and ProRetina.
Using selected objects from the permanent exhibition, the floor guidance system together with the audio guide leads visitors through Wiesbaden's city history. This can not only be heard: replicas of the objects can be touched at individual stations. Selected objects can be touched carefully with gloves.
The texts about the objects were researched and written by pupils from the Leibniz School and the Theodor-Fliedner School. With the support of the media center, they then recorded them.
The Schuld Foundation supported the cooperation project financially.
Audio files
On this and the following pages, you will find the audio files for the individual objects that have been selected to represent an era.
There is a QR code at each station in the city museum to access the audio files. If you would like to prepare for your visit in advance, you can download the audio files here and take them with you to the museum on your smartphone.
You will be greeted at the Stadtmuseum by our friendly and attentive supervisory staff. They will also provide you with gloves for feeling original objects. If you have any further questions, you can contact the supervisor at any time.
Equipped with headphones, the journey through Wiesbaden's city history can begin.
