Cultural advisory board election

Information on the voting procedure

Here you can find out how to vote for the Cultural Advisory Board election

The Cultural Advisory Board election will be held online for the first time in 2026.

All residents with their primary residence in Wiesbaden who have reached the age of 16 by the cutoff date of May 26 are eligible to vote.

You can vote for the future members of the Cultural Advisory Board in two simple steps:

  • Request login credentials for the online election (available starting May 27)
  • Log in with your login credentials and vote online on a device (by 4:00 p.m. on June 23 at the latest)

Starting May 27, you will find the link here to request your login credentials via the City of Wiesbaden’s online absentee ballot application.

You will then receive a letter containing your login credentials and instructions for casting your vote.

The deadline for submitting votes is 4:00 p.m. on Election Day, June 23.

Since timely delivery of the login credentials can no longer be guaranteed as of June 18, it is no longer possible to request the login credentials online.

Login credentials can then be issued from June 18 through June 23 at the Wiesbaden Election Office, Friedrichstraße 16, 65185 Wiesbaden, 1st floor, side wing.

For eligible voters without internet access, there is also the option to vote in person at the Election Office and local administrative offices from June 18 through June 23. To cast your vote in person, you must present a valid form of identification.

During this period, the Election Office is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For local administrative offices, please note the respective opening hours.
