During all Hessian vacations (Easter, summer, autumn and winter), the vacation program offers numerous activities for children and young people aged six to 16.

There are day trips and workshops for all interests and inclinations: Sports, artistic-creative offers, adventure education, nature and animals, media education and gender-specific offers for girls and boys.

Program for the Easter vacations: Fun, games and adventure

The Easter holidays are just around the corner – and the state capital of Wiesbaden has once again put together a colorful holiday program for children and young people aged six to 16. Whether creative workshops, exciting day trips, the cheerful children's play festival "Schöne Ferien vor Ort" (Happy Holidays at Home) or the traditional Easter bonfire – there is something for everyone here.

From hobby horsing to climbing, from trampoline jumping to cooking and baking courses, acting, forest adventures, and creative art projects: the diverse range of activities invites participants to try new things, discover talents, and have lots of fun. Day trips include visits to the Puppet Theater Museum and the Bioversum, where culture and nature can be experienced in an exciting way.

On Easter Saturday, April 4, the big Easter bonfire will blaze again at the slaughterhouse – an atmospheric experience for the whole family.

During both weeks of the holidays, the open children's play festival "Schöne Ferien vor Ort" (Happy Holidays at Home) invites children aged six to twelve to play, romp, do crafts, and get creative together every afternoon from Monday to Friday (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) – free of charge and without registration. In the first week of the holidays, the festival will take place in Schelmengraben, and in the second week in Klarenthal.
