Summer meadow 2026
During the summer vacation from June 27 to July 1, the big play week offers plenty of variety, cooling off, fun and action every day from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Reisinger Anlagen.
The Summer Meadow is the big play week organized as part of the Social Services Department’s summer program, “wi&you Schöne Ferien.”
A wide variety of outdoor games, physical activities, and creative workshops are offered. These include a giant water slide, a ninja obstacle course, water games, small carousels, a beauty palace, theater and music workshops, a mobile play center, hands-on arts and crafts activities, as well as quiet retreat areas for reading and relaxing. In addition, there are daily rotating activities, creative workshops, theater performances, and visits from clowns. All stations are supervised by qualified staff.
Another highlight of the program is the daily stage program: The talent show and the Kids’ Olympics with Herbert and Jimmy take place here regularly.
The following applies to all activities: Admission is free, and no advance registration is required.

The summer vacation program continues even after the "Sommerwiese" event: During the second through sixth weeks of summer vacation, "Schöne Ferien vor Ort" will take place in several neighborhoods across Wiesbaden—Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. Children ages six to twelve can drop in at any time and participate in arts and crafts, games, and sports activities free of charge—no registration required.
