Pact for the full day

The elementary schools participating in the Full-Day Pact offer a reliable and voluntary educational and care program for all students five days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including during school breaks in Hesse.

Pact for the full day

The Full-Day Pact is the preferred model of the state capital, Wiesbaden. It is characterized by close cooperation between schools and childcare providers, as well as joint funding by the State of Hesse and the municipality. It is a voluntary educational and childcare program that becomes binding upon registration. Participation is generally open to all grade levels.

Parents can choose between different care modules. These include care from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or extended care until 5:00 p.m., in each case with or without vacation care. Registration is for one school year and is binding. If a module ending at 2:30 p.m. is selected, participation is mandatory from the start of classes until that time.

For modules with care until 5:00 p.m., the respective care provider sets the pickup times. These are based on the educational activities in the groups as well as the needs of the families. The vacation programs are organized by the care provider.

Support Modules

The following monthly parental fees apply to the childcare services offered under the Full-Day Pact:

  • Care from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., excluding vacation care: 30.00 euros
  • Care from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including holiday care: 67.50 euros
  • Care until 5:00 p.m., excluding vacation care: 110.00 euros
  • Care until 5:00 p.m., including vacation care: 147.50 euros

Modules 3 and 4 can only be booked in combination with Module 1 or 2.
Subsidies for these fees may be available if certain requirements are met.

Lunch is an integral part of the All-Day Care Program and costs 85.00 euros per month.

Upon request, the cost of lunch may be covered as part of the Education and Participation Package.
