Joint BEP projects
The networks jointly plan educational projects for the transition from daycare to primary school/after-school care. The content of these projects is based on the BEP and can be financially supported.
Joint BEP projects
One of the aims is to learn and work together within the local networks. For many years, joint projects and joint training courses have been financially supported by the Fachstelle Übergang Kita - Grundschule. The local networks from daycare centers, schools and after-school care can develop their own ideas as to what is suitable for their location.
To keep the bureaucratic effort as low as possible, we have simplified the application process in 2022. At the same time, you as a network have the opportunity to plan your joint projects without any major specifications. The checklist for planning joint educational projects is for your internal planning in the network (all documents at the bottom of the page).
What is eligible for funding?
- Joint educational projects: Materials, honorary staff, entrance fees, bus trips
- Joint learning workshops: materials, honorary staff
- Joint training courses: for representatives of the network or nursery teams/school events, each with two to three participants from the other area
- Other, by arrangement
Please take advantage of the opportunity to discuss with the transition from nursery to elementary school before submitting an application to determine whether a project is eligible for funding.
What requirements must be met?
- The joint projects and training courses must comply with the objectives of the "Wiesbaden Agreement"
- Daycare centers, schools and after-school care are jointly responsible for the planning, implementation and reflection of projects and other measures. Example: A school party in which the daycare center may also participate is not eligible for funding.
Application
- The school submits the application for its network.
The school signs on behalf of the network and agrees that the application and evaluation with proof of use as well as all notifications from the Fachstelle Übergang Kita - Grundschule (e.g. grant notification or rejection notice) will be sent by email to all network partners as a copy (cc). Otherwise, all network partners must sign the application. - Please always use the current forms - see below.
- Networks can submit several applications per kindergarten/school year:
- Example 1: applications for a project with the children and a further training course for the network.
- Example 2: Class 1a with one reference nursery and class 1b with the other reference nursery, and so on.
- Application deadline: December 15 of the current school year.
Payment is made in January of the current school year. The project applications received by the deadline will be reviewed and the funds allocated to the projects accordingly. If funds are still available, project applications received at a later date may also be eligible for funding. - Please send the application by e-mail to:
ffachstelle.uebergangwiesbadendele.uebergang@wiesbaden.deOr alternatively by post to:

- Copies of the receipts
- Send us brochures or other forms of documentation.
