Wiesbaden agreement
The "Wiesbaden Agreement" on the transition from daycare to elementary school is an instrument designed to make the transition from daycare to elementary school and afternoon care easier for children and their parents.
The ''Wiesbaden Agreement''
At the heart of the "Wiesbaden Agreement" are the local networks: every elementary school in Wiesbaden forms a local network with the daycare centers and after-school care*. The common task is to organize the transition in such a way that children and their parents arrive at school and after-school care well. To this end, the agreement provides valuable suggestions and places cooperation during the transition from daycare to elementary school on a rule-based and binding foundation.
The "Wiesbaden Agreement" takes into account the principles of the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan.
*: Who is meant by "afternoon care"? The employees of the elementary school providing care and the care associations working at the school.
