The transition from working life to retirement brings with it many questions and uncertainties. It is not uncommon for issues such as: Will my pension be enough? Am I entitled to housing benefit? What support and advice services are available to me in Wiesbaden?

In order to provide citizens with the best possible support in this important phase of life, the state capital of Wiesbaden is inviting them to a major information event on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Dotzheimer Straße 99 (1st floor).

Under the title "Life phase (un)retirement - What now?", numerous offices and advice centers of the city administration as well as other institutions will present their services. Visitors will be able to obtain information, support and individual contacts on all relevant issues relating to old age, pensions and provision.

Among others, there are

  • Advice centers for independent living in old age
  • German pension insurance
  • Belle Wi housing advice center
  • Basic security in old age
  • Care assistance (outpatient and inpatient)
