Wiesbaden Phantoms in the GFL 2

The Wiesbaden Phantoms played in the German Football League 2 (GFL 2) again in the 2025 season. After securing their place in the league, they suffered a 10:50 defeat at champions Regensburg at the end of the season. Now everyone at the Phantoms is already looking forward to the next season in 2026.

Season finale in Rregensburg

The Wiesbaden Phantoms lost 10:50 at champions and GFL promoted Regensburg Phoenix at the end of the GFL2 season, but have an impressive 5:5 record in the league.

Home game: 34:14 against Nürnberg Rams

The Wiesbaden Phantoms have bid an impressive farewell to the GFL2 home season before heading to Regensburg Phoenix on Saturday, August 30: Head Coach David Gordon's team clearly defeated the Nürnberg Rams 34-14 in front of over 1,100 spectators and are now looking forward to the big season finale.

42:0 win against Fursty Razorbacks

27:3 in the first leg in Fürstenfeldbruck, now 42:0 in front of a home crowd. The Wiesbaden Phantoms not only secured victory in the direct comparison in "Camp Lindsey" thanks to their success over the Fursty Razorbacks in GFL2, but also improved their record to 4:4 and thus secured their place in the league. The home side were already 35:0 up at half-time. The second half was then a showdown for the Wiesbaden side.
