Gießen has started the season with one win and one loss. So it will be a tough task in North Hesse if the Phantoms want to bring the points back to Wiesbaden.

The first home game of the season was now set to take place at "Camp Lindsey," with the Augsburg Centurions—a team newly promoted to the GFL2—as the opponents. In a closely contested match, the home team, the Phantoms, ultimately prevailed 38–33, securing their second win in their second game of the season. Let’s hope things continue this way.

The Wiesbaden Phantoms kicked off the GFL2 season with a 58-0 victory over the Biberach Beavers, avenging at least one of their two losses from 2025. The Phantoms were already leading 24-0 at halftime and showed no signs of letting up in the third and fourth quarters.
