Clean air plan
Clean air plans are important instruments for protecting air quality. They are drawn up when immission limits are exceeded. In Wiesbaden, the Hessian State Office for Nature Conservation, Environment and Geology is responsible for the measurements.
Clean air plan
The Rhine-Main region is a major conurbation in Germany that faces particular challenges in terms of air pollution control due to its population density and industrial activities. In order to improve air quality, several clean air plans have been developed and updated here since 2005. These include clean air plans for the cities of Frankfurt, Kassel, Darmstadt, Offenbach and Wiesbaden. The current 2nd update of the clean air plan for Wiesbaden came into force on February 11, 2019.
