Elementary school support structure
The childcare elementary school are open all year round, except for a three-week closure period during the summer vacation. Registration is required.
The elementary schools with after-school care programs offer full-day care until 5:00 p.m. and three-quarters-day care until 3:00 p.m. to help families better balance work and family life. The two schools are part of the School Social Work for Children division. As part of youth services, we address current care needs and help reduce disadvantages faced by children and families. Our collaboration with the various departments of the Wiesbaden Office of Social Work promotes the children’s academic development and supports their transition to secondary schools.

The full-day program (7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and the three-quarters-day program (7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) are subject to fees. Financial assistance may be requested under certain conditions. If you are interested in a care spot, you can place a reservation at the respective facility.
Application for a Daycare Spot
To secure a spot at a participating elementary school, simply pre-register your child. Use the PDF form below or the online service to do so.
Your application will then be forwarded to the elementary school offering after-school care, where your pre-registration will be reviewed. Provided that all required documentation has been submitted, your child will be placed on the school’s pre-registration list.
As soon as an after-school care spot becomes available for your child, the after-school care elementary school will notify you. If you wish to accept the offered spot, you can then submit a binding registration.
