Anne-Louise Hoffmann, born in 1984 in Neustadt/Weinstr., lives and works in Paris, Cologne, and Wiesbaden.

Hoffmann’s multimedia installations are rooted in a physical matrix within the context of modernity, fantasy, and performative gestures. 

She approaches this thematic panorama through poetic arrangements that employ methods and techniques from nearly all disciplines of contemporary art. Humor and melancholy are integral components of this process.

Her works have been exhibited at venues including the Ludwigshafen Kunstverein, the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck in Cologne, as well as in Berlin and Paris.

In addition to numerous collaborations with other artists and non-artists, Hoffmann founded the band Glue in 2009.
