Juan Bermúdez, born in Bogotá in 1994, is an artist currently living in the Rhine-Main region. His practice encompasses installations, sound art, video, and text. He explores the politics of time and non-human time scales, often through long-term processes that alter public perception over the course of an exhibition. Bermúdez has exhibited at Klangkunst in Industrie Kultur – Kulturfonds Frankfurt RheinMain, OPENING 25 Trier, Kunsthaus Wiesbaden, LTK4 Cologne, and Espacio Odeón Bogotá, among others. His works have been performed at Hessischer Rundfunk/HR2 Kultur in Frankfurt, the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik, and art.ist – Kooperative New Jazz Walkmühle in Wiesbaden.
