The Bug winery has been family-owned since 1720. It is located in the heart of the Rheingau, in Hallgarten. The family business currently cultivates an area of around four hectares. The majority of our vineyards are planted with white Riesling. The remaining area is planted with Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and red Riesling. From 2018, a Gewürztraminer will also be on tap again. The vineyard is currently run by siblings Matthias and Jochen Bug. Twice a year, from March to April and September to October, the estate's own wine tavern opens and spoils you with delicious food and wines.
