This year, the creator of the "Sörensen" novels is a Wiesbaden crime fiction scholarship holder and, as such, will be a guest at the Literaturhaus Villa Clementine for a whole month. He has brought with him his latest novel, "Sörensen geht aufs Haus," which, like the previous five novels in the series, is set in Katenbüll in North Frisia.

What can be said, what is better left unsaid? When Mads is asked to give a eulogy for his old friend Patrick, his research uncovers dangerous secrets. He hadn't been in contact for years, and now he discovers that his friend was anything but the nice boy next door. Mads's research becomes a dangerous undertaking.

Decay and loss, death and desire: the story of the Hungarian noble family Lázár is a story of horror, the supernatural, and history. Lajos von Lázár is born around 1900, and great upheavals loom on the horizon of his life. Wars loom, and with the popular uprising in Hungary, the nobility must fear for their status. Biedermann tells the story of the Lázár family over three generations against the backdrop of the fall of the Habsburg monarchy, weaving in world literature as well as all manner of wondrous elements.
