Seniors' Advisory Council: "The Stolen Face" at the Murnau-Filmtheater

On Wednesday, May 7, 3.30 pm, the Seniors' Advisory Council in the state capital of Wiesbaden, in cooperation with the Murnau-Filmtheater, Murnaustraße 6, invites you to the film "Das gestohlene Gesicht" (The Stolen Face) from 1930 as part of its "Film Classics in the Afternoon" series. People of all ages are welcome and pay 6 euros admission.

About the film: "The Stolen Face" is the only cinematic document of its main actor, the self-confessed KPD member Hans Otto. After being interrogated by the SA in November 1933, he died a few days later at the age of 33. He is considered one of the first artists to fall victim to the Nazi regime.

The film will be preceded by a film studies introduction. Tickets are available at the box office and online at murnau-stiftung.de/filmtheater. Reservations can be made by e-mail to filmtheatermurnau-stiftungde or by telephone (0611) 9770841 from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
