Guided tour through "Form, color, freedom: 75 years of artist group 50"
As part of the exhibitions "Form, Color, Freedom: 75 Years of Artists' Group 50", the Cultural Office invites you to a guided tour of the Kunsthaus, Schulberg 10, on Wednesday, March 19, 3 pm. Admission is free. Elliane Dinnendal and Peter Bernhard, members of Künstlergruppe 50, will guide you through the exhibition.
Founded by the painter, gallery owner and honorary citizen of the state capital of Wiesbaden, Christa Moering, and the painter Heinz Rudi Müller, the Artists' Group 50 has been active for three quarters of a century as a permanent institution, community of interest, creative circle and ever-expanding network. The group has lived and breathed in and with Wiesbaden for 75 years - a reason to celebrate. 17 active artists invite you to enter into a dialog with themselves and their work, show familiar and new things, look back, but above all look forward. Painting meets sculpture, photography meets digital painting - dynamic, exciting, playful, precise, but above all lively.
Participating artists: Peter Bernhard, Swantje von Bismarck, Petra von Breitenbach, Frank Deubel, Ellianne Dinnendahl, Joan Draxler, Roman R. Eichhorn, Alois Ewen, Susan Geel, Bettina Gelhard Reeh, Arnold Gorski, Iris Kaczmarczyks, Stefan Lochmann, Isanna von Perbandt, Horst Reichard, Tom Sommerlatte, Gabriele Strecker.
The exhibitions can be viewed until Sunday, April 27, Tuesdays to Sundays and on public holidays from 11 am to 5 pm and Thursdays from 11 am to 7 pm. Further information is available at www.wiesbaden.de/kunsthaus.
