State capital Wiesbaden launches new participation portal wiesbadenwirkt.de

The state capital of Wiesbaden has launched its new participation portal wiesbadenwirkt.de. The new portal offers citizens a more modern and clearer website where they can actively help shape the city.

The previous portal dein.wiesbaden.de, which had been in operation since 2018, was replaced by a new one for technical reasons. It enables citizens to participate in municipal projects online and to obtain comprehensive information.

The new portal boasts a modern design that has already been used in public relations work and is now also visible on the website. The platform has a clearer layout and makes a clear distinction between online participation and information offerings, ensuring easy navigation. It offers an improved mobile view, making it easy to use on smartphones and tablets. In addition, the participation tools have been optimized and new functions have been added.

With the new participation portal, the state capital of Wiesbaden is focusing on modern, citizen-oriented communication and invites all citizens to actively participate in shaping their city.

Further information and participation in current projects can be found at wiesbadenwirkt.de (opens in a new tab).

The portal is managed by the mitWIrken - Engagement. University. Public Participation., which was restructured at the beginning of the year. The Wiesbadener Identität. Engagement. Citizen Participation. and the University Representative staff unit were merged.
