Overview of the Water Main Break on Wiesbadener Straße in Dotzheim
Wiesbadener Straße has been completely closed at house number 50, between Schönbergstraße and Bethelstraße, since this morning and is expected to remain closed until Tuesday, September 22. The road will reopen after that. The closure is due to underground construction work on a damaged water service line that is leaking.
The water service connection is being completely replaced. The water supply for residents is currently guaranteed. However, there may be brief interruptions during the repair work.
Dotzheim-Mitte can be reached via Ludwig-Erhard-Straße. A detour will be set up shortly. The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes.
Due to the construction work, there will be service restrictions on bus lines 23, 24, 27, and N4. The “Wiesbaden-Dotzheim Bahnhof” stop will be omitted without replacement. The “Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße” stop in the direction of the Horst-Schmidt-Kliniken will be moved to the stop on the opposite side of the street, “Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße,” in the direction of Wiesbaden. Passengers will therefore board on the opposite side of the street. It is not yet clear how long these restrictions will last. Please take these changes into account when planning your trips and allow for extra time if necessary.
Further general information is available at the timetable display cases at the affected stops. Up-to-date schedule information can also be found on the interactive route map at www.netzplan-wiesbaden.de (opens in a new tab). An overview of all detour notices is available at www.eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab).
The ESWE Transportation Service Hotline is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at (0611) 45022450.
