The Engagement Team serves as a coordinating body between city administration, city policymakers, and civil society in the area of civic engagement. Among other things, it aims to inspire people to get involved in various forms of civic engagement and to make the work of volunteers easier. 

The Public Participation Team advises and supports colleagues in the city administration in planning and implementing projects that involve public participation. The team also serves as the point of contact for citizens regarding participation issues.
