Women's and Equal Opportunities Officer of the Wiesbaden City Administration (HGIG)
The Women's and Equal Opportunities Officer in accordance with the HGlG implements the constitutional mandate of Art. 3 (2) of the Basic Law - men and women have equal rights - in the city administration department.
It monitors and supports the department in implementing the Hessian Equal Opportunities Act (HGlG) and the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) in the city administration. It advises the department and the department management in order to promote the realization of equal opportunities for women and men, to improve the compatibility of family and career/work and care for women and men and to reduce the underrepresentation of women in the city administration - especially in management positions.
In the area of city administration, it is particularly committed to combating the structural discrimination of women. She works intensively to protect against sexual harassment in the workplace and offers advice and support in this area for women and men, as well as for departmental management.
The Women's and Equal Opportunities Officer is responsible for the internal administrative area of the city administration, i.e. the employees of the state capital of Wiesbaden."
