Accompanied driving from the age of 17 (apply online)
You can submit an application for accompanied driving from the age of 17 for a category B driving license to the driving license authority responsible for you.
The online application even has a "selfie" function that can be used to upload a photo. Biometric data is secured using software from the Federal Printing Office. Applicants
can be authenticated conveniently and securely using the activated online ID function of their identity card, electronic residence permit, or eID card, or via their federal user account. You can also authenticate yourself with the online ID function without a user account by logging in temporarily to the federal user account (log in as a guest). Then select your ID document (German ID card with online function, electronic residence permit, EU citizen card) and enter the PIN.
The application requires information about the accompanying persons (name, address, date of issue of the driver's license, etc.), as well as their consent and signature. The legal representative must also agree to the application and confirm this with their signature.
