Building authority approval
The building inspectorate approval replaces the building permit if the federal government acts as the client, for example in the case of federal authorities, barracks or federal courts.
In general, the Hessian Building Code (HBO) specifies which structures, construction projects, land uses, facilities, and other installations require approval. It distinguishes between projects that do not require a permit and those that do. The scope of the building authority’s review varies depending on the procedure.
