The Baba Shrimp Gang is zooming in on their mopeds, bringing German indie pop with them! For the past three years, the five guys from southern Hesse have been performing on stages across Germany and have already proven—through support shows for KAFFKIEZ, Raum27, and KYTES, as well as at various major festivals—that they’re more than capable of holding their own on the biggest stages. Anyone attending a Baba Shrimp Gang concert can look forward to an energetic and humorous show featuring a colorful mix of indie pop—and they’re not afraid to push the boundaries of the genre every now and then.

But now there’s something new, something authentic, something that has grown out of the past and will be seen in the future: MUPANI. The concert is made possible by the support of Naspa, Helaba, and DAL Deutsche Anlagen Leasing.

This year, on both days of the city festival, regionally renowned DJs will be spinning groovy electronic house and techno music for visitors. So in the “Wine and Culinary Mile” on Mauergasse, you’ll once again be able to not only drink and feast, but also dance the night away. On Saturday, an after-show party will follow on Schwalbacher Straße at the “Wohnzimmer.” There, the party will continue with DJ Paul & Friends, who will extend the evening for everyone who can’t get enough.

Singer and guitarist Colin Frost is from Liverpool and, together with cajón player Paul Maré, performs his favorite songs in a modern, laid-back acoustic style. The two English-German musicians perform their very own interpretations of the most beautiful songs by James Taylor, Carole King, Al Green, Van Morrison... and, of course, the Beatles. 

The Wiesbaden-based ensemble Lindenrausch invites you on a musical journey with a French flair. The popular BalFolk collective brings pure joy with lively waltzes and melodies for traditional Breton circle dances that instantly evoke that vacation feeling. A vibrant concert experience that invites you to both relax and listen and to dance across generations.

The singer-songwriter has long been known nationwide under her stage name “Erna.” At just 15 years old, she was already rocking stages in Croatia and releasing songs she wrote herself. Her unique vocal tone and radiant stage presence have allowed Erna to collaborate with various music labels and make a name for herself since her youth. For the past six years, her passionate voice has also been winning over the hearts of her German audience. Smoky, powerful, and full of soul! A fusion of pop, soul, and blues that can be
heard in her new single “How Do You Love Me.” With this song, Erna made it all the way to the finals of the Croatian Eurovision Song Contest preliminary round. The song has received great feedback in Croatia.

Ride your bike to the city festival—the ADFC will look after it for you. You can park your bike in a secure area at the city festival in the ADFC Bike Club’s “bike cloakroom.” You’ll find the bike check-in right in the heart of the Dern’schen Gelände behind the bus stops—and it’s free. Every bike in the city means less traffic, noise, and stress. So give it a try! Members of the ADFC Bike Club are organizing the bike cloakroom service for the city festival in cooperation with Wiesbaden Congress und Marketing GmbH.

"Der Radler"—a project of the BauHaus Workshops in Wiesbaden—is offering a free bike check at the city festival, right next to the bike rack, where bikes are inspected for road safety and, if necessary, minor adjustments (no repairs) can be made on the spot. During the check, any issues are noted on a checklist, which is then given to the customer. Anyone can then have the necessary repairs done at "Der Radler" by scheduling an appointment. Each bike check takes about 20 minutes.
