The popular singing festival is once again drawing many Wiesbaden residents to the Dern'sche grounds. The focus is on the joy of singing together—with no pressure, no prior knowledge, and no choir experience required. Everyone is welcome to join in. As usual, a free songbook with a varied repertoire will be provided to help you along. No choir experience or prior knowledge is necessary. If you enjoy singing, this is the place for you. City Cycling and School Cycling 2026 — Wiesbaden Loves Cycling. For three weeks in June 2026, thousands of Wiesbaden residents came together to rack up kilometers on their bikes. 2,889 cyclists joined forces in 176 teams. Together, they covered an impressive 597,509 kilometers—commuting to work, riding to school, or just for fun. For the climate, for the team, for their health, and for the fun of it. Now, at the city festival, it’s time for the rewards: The hardest-working and largest teams will be honored and recognized. And so will the most dedicated and successful schools. In addition, 20 “City Cyclists” selected by lottery will receive an attractive prize. And great photos from the three weeks of City Cycling show what “Wiesbaden, the Bicycle City,” looks like.  

The whole world is a stage. For 15 years, Stagecoach has been offering children and teens a creative and safe place where they can discover their talents through dance, acting, and singing and push themselves to new heights. This not only fosters new skills and friendships, but also builds self-confidence, expressiveness, and a whole lot of joy—no prior experience required.

Usually, they frolic exuberantly through hospital hallways, chase away sadness and worries from patients’ beds, or play cheerful music at senior centers: the Wiesbaden Clown Doctors on their “humor visits.” But on Sunday, September 27, they’ll be making their way through a completely different setting—namely, the Wiesbaden City Festival. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience the Clown Doctors in a whole new light. 

The Wiesbaden City Choir is the concert choir of the capital of Hesse. It regularly performs at the symphony concerts of the Hessian State Theater under the direction of the respective General Music Director. In addition to symphony concerts, the choir also performs regularly at other events, most recently with Johannes Brahms’s Requiem at the Marktkirche in Wiesbaden. Together, they sing, laugh, and experience music in an authentic, warm-hearted way—and always with great joy. 

Best Age – Music that brings people together. Four musicians, four instruments, one goal: Handcrafted music that touches hearts and enchants ears. Best Age from Wiesbaden brings over 100 songs from rock, pop, and folk—spanning from the ’60s to today—to the stage. With a warm, acoustic sound and harmonized vocals, the band creates a lively atmosphere and resonates with people of all ages. Guitar, ukulele, bass, and cajon come together to create a natural sound that doesn’t rely on technical gimmicks.

Acoustic cover songs at their finest: a diverse selection spanning six decades of pop, country, rock & roll, and blues. Robert Brusell captivates audiences with his impressively distinctive voice and the wonderful sound of his acoustic guitars and harmonicas. Lars Eichstaedt on the electric piano plays groovy pop songs just as brilliantly and convincingly as his catchy blues solos.

Anyone who thinks of brass instruments as just dusty marching music hasn’t counted on Kupfer & Zink. The Wiesbaden-based collective is thoroughly shaking up the regional music scene and proving just how modern, driving, and sexy a handmade sound can be. The band combines the raw energy of urban brass music with Latin and Balkan brass grooves and electronic elements. The result is a high-octane musical alloy that unleashes explosive energy when performed live.

With the mobile band BUSKERS DELUXE, you never quite know in advance where the musical journey will take you—the three musicians spontaneously switch from upbeat swing to wistful chansons, and funky pop songs glide into a subtle bossa nova, which then morphs into a dainty French waltz. The audience snaps their fingers, whistles along, and sometimes even dances. The familiar mixes with the unfamiliar, slow tempos with absurdly fast ones, the humorous with the melancholic… sometimes subtle, sometimes playful—always spontaneous and in tune with the atmosphere. Ride your bike to the city festival—the ADFC will look after it for you. You can park your bike in a secure area at the city festival in the ADFC Bike Club’s “bike cloakroom.” You’ll find the bike check-in right in the heart of the Dern’schen Gelände behind the bus stops—and it’s free. Every bike in the city means less traffic, noise, and stress. So give it a try! Members of the ADFC Bike Club are organizing the bike cloakroom service for the city festival in cooperation with Wiesbaden Congress und Marketing GmbH.

"Der Radler"—a project of the BauHaus Workshops in Wiesbaden—is offering a free bike check at the city festival, right next to the bike rack, where bikes are inspected for road safety and, if necessary, minor adjustments (no repairs) can be made on the spot. During the check, any issues are noted on a checklist, which is then given to the customer. Anyone can then have the necessary repairs done at "Der Radler" by scheduling an appointment. Each bike check takes about 20 minutes.
