Wiesbaden School Theater Days
Under the motto "Out of the classroom - onto the stage", the school theater days have been held in Wiesbaden since 2002.
Every year in March, the doors of the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden open for the School Theater Days. The audience can look forward to great school theater performances on the stages of the Kleines Haus and the Studio.
Acting, rehearsing and immersing oneself in other characters are experiences that promote empathy and sensitivity. Stage fright and feelings of euphoria after a successful performance are only found in the theater. Pupils and all participants can gain these experiences during the school theater days.
In cooperation with the theater education department at the Hessisches Staatstheater, the cultural office organizes the multi-day theater festival, at which schools present their own productions on the stages of the Hessisches Staatstheater alongside theater classics. The School Theater Days are also very popular beyond the city limits.

Theater work in schools
Anyone who has ever been on stage knows that acting is not only a lot of fun. Playing theater strengthens your own personality and helps you to understand others better. In this way, theater work in schools not only promotes cultural education, but also promotes togetherness.
