Inclusive cultural offerings - people with hearing impairments
Cultural events for deaf people are translated into sign language. There are also offers with hearing amplification for people who are hard of hearing.
In the spirit of cultural inclusion for everyone, the state capital of Wiesbaden also offers cultural programs for people with hearing impairments.
These include events with sign language interpretation, which are co-organized by the Wiesbaden Association for the Deaf. Video announcements in sign language are available for these events. You can find the links to the videos in the respective sections.
The Caligari Cinema regularly screens films with subtitles. In addition, all films are available with hearing assistance devices that can be borrowed. Hearing amplification at the Caligari movie theater
Caligari FilmBühne Cinema: As a community cinema, the Caligari strives to be a cinema for everyone. This includes providing an accessible cinema experience. People with hearing impairments or those sensitive to loud volumes can use loaner hearing amplifiers to adjust the volume individually for all films. In addition, sound-amplifying hearing loops are available for rent at the box office for people with hearing aids. The Caligari program also includes films with subtitles. It should be noted, however, that unfortunately, accessible versions are not produced for all films.
