The vision: cultural participation for all
Art and culture are expressions of human identity—they tell stories, connect generations, and bridge differences. A diverse and democratic society creates space for creative exchange, which opens up new perspectives and provides fresh inspiration.
Targeted funding programs, networking, and collaborative projects support a wide variety of artistic expressions to foster a vibrant cultural landscape in Wiesbaden. A diverse cultural landscape with open and accessible offerings is crucial for bringing together people from different walks of life.
To achieve this, the City Administration—particularly the Cultural Affairs Office, the Youth Work Department within the Office of Social Work, and the Office of Integration and Immigration—plays a key role: through its own programs, funding initiatives, and as advisors and networkers.
