Home match against Viktoria Köln

A home game awaits SVWW on matchday 14. On Sunday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m., the Wiesbaden Brita-Arena will host the strong Viktoria Köln team with goal scorer Lobinger, and the team of interim coach Steinmetz will certainly be more challenged than in the visit game in Havelse.

SVWW will be without the two regulars Stritzel and Kaya. The injured regular keeper will be replaced by Brdar, as he was after his substitution in Havelse, while Agrafiotis should start for the yellow card suspended captain Kaya. Whether SVWW's long-time leading player and fan favorite Mockenhaupt will get another chance will also be seen on match day.

Possible setups

SVWW: Brdar - Wohlers, Gillekens, Janitzek, N. May - Suarez, Gözüsirin - Bogicevic, Schleimer - Flotho, Agrafiotis - interim coach Steinmetz

Viktoria Köln: Dudu - L. Dietz, Greger, Sponsel - Wolf, Kloss, Münst, Handle - D. Otto, Kozuki - Lobinger - Coach Wilhelm

SVWW must travel to SV Waldhof Mannheim

After the match against Cologne and the international break, SVWW will continue its 15th matchday at SV Waldhof Mannheim on Saturday, November 22 at 2:00 pm. After a poor start to the season and the dismissal of their coach, the former Bundesliga side from Mannheim have now dropped to mid-table in the 3rd division. This means that they will be facing off against one of their neighbors in the table and perhaps the new coach will be sitting on the SVWW bench.

Guest appearance at TSV Havelse ends with a 2:0 victory

Wiesbaden's interim coach Steinmetz made two changes from the 2-1 defeat against Aachen, bringing on Bogicevic for Johansson and Flotho for Agrafiotis. The game then got underway in front of a modest crowd of just 912 fans. And the hosts, who were second-last in the table, got off to a good start, with Rexhepi's first shot hitting the Wiesbaden crossbar after just six minutes. After that, both teams found it more than difficult to get into a good game. SVWW played harmlessly and there were no good chances. In the 35th minute, keeper Stritzel had to leave the pitch and was replaced by Brdar. Havelse only celebrated in stoppage time. Flotho played in goal-scorer Kaya and he slid the ball into the net to make it 1-0. Then the first half came to an end and SVWW went into the break with a lucky lead.

The second half was then a game between two uncertain teams on a poor pitch. It wasn't a good game of soccer, more a battle of attrition. And Havelse had the first chance to score in the second half in the 83rd minute! But Posselt failed to beat keeper Brdar and the post. In stoppage time, Suarez set up striker Agrafiotis following a counter-attack and the Greek forward fired the ball into the net to make it 2-0. The game was then over and SVWW ran out 2-0 winners after a mediocre match. With 19 points, Wiesbaden are in mid-table in the 3rd division.
