The Wiesbaden Vehicle Registration Office provides all services related to registering and deregistering vehicles, issuing resident parking permits, and granting parking privileges for people with severe disabilities. 

In-person visits are only possible by appointment.

Due to a major and necessary system upgrade, the Licensing Office will be closed on Thursday, September 10, 2026, and Friday, September 11, 2026.

Starting Monday, September 14, 2026, the Registration Office will be open again during its regular business hours.

Please note that in-person visits are only possible by appointment.

From Monday, September 7, 2026, through Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the online portal for registering, transferring, or deregistering vehicles will be unavailable.

We appreciate your understanding and recommend that you complete any necessary procedures before the restrictions take effect, if possible.

Note: 

Urgent de-registrations can be processed at any vehicle registration office, regardless of your place of residence.

If all appointments are already booked, please try again in the following days starting at 7 a.m., as appointments become available at regular intervals. 

The online appointment calendar is not available to car dealerships, registration services, or motor vehicle retailers.

A dealer service counter is available during business hours for up to four transactions.
