A hot lunch is offered at around 70 schools (primary and secondary schools). The department is responsible for organizing lunches at all types of schools in Wiesbaden. This includes, on the one hand, the billing of lunches and, on the other, quality management. As part of quality management, there is close cooperation with the caterers and all other players involved in the lunch service (schools, providers, etc.). Colleagues conclude contracts with caterers, develop catering concepts and optimize processes with the aim of providing healthy and sustainable school meals. School lunches should be more than just food.
