Accessibility in the Literaturhaus

Below you will find information on the accessibility of the Villa Clementine House of Literature.

The event spaces at the Literaturhaus Villa Clementine are accessible to people with disabilities. Access is via the side entrance and an elevator located there. The door to the side entrance is operated by an automatic door opener.

Access to the café area during Open Saturday & Sunday is also barrier-free.

In addition, the Literaturhaus has an accessible restroom.

Reduced admission to Literaturhaus events is available with a disability ID card indicating a disability level of 70% or higher. If the disability ID card bears the “B” designation, one accompanying person receives free admission. Wheelchair users are asked to register at literaturhauswiesbadende and should arrive on site 15 minutes before the event begins.

The Literaturhaus has audio amplification equipment available for loan.

The Literaturhaus is certified by "Reisen für alle."

Opening hours

Office hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday closed

Tickets for the auditorium are available in advance from Tourist Info and online from the Literaturhaus homepage via Eventim. The box office opens 45 minutes before the start of the event.

The Literaturhauscafé is not open all day and is only open occasionally during readings, festivals or special Literaturhaus events as well as on Open Saturday & Sunday from 1-6 pm.
