Family benefits on site
Cooperation for Wiesbaden families! On Thursday, November 20, Wiesbaden families can get advice on family benefits such as housing benefit, maintenance advance or child benefit from 9 am. Registration is requested.
A cooperation between the Social Benefits and Job Center, the Office for Social Work and the Family Benefits Office enables Wiesbaden families to obtain advice on various state benefits once a month at Dotzheimer Straße 99/corner of Kurt-Schumacher-Ring.
Advice is offered on the benefits of the education and participation package, child benefit/child supplement, housing benefit, benefits from the municipal job center, advance maintenance payments and childcare. Information on the individual benefits is available at a total of six stations and applications can also be submitted directly.
Familienleistungen vor Ort (FvO) helps many interested families to claim the benefits to which they are entitled. In some cases, families even gain several hundred euros per month. For example, there are improvements for families, as claiming housing benefit or child supplement also makes benefits for education and participation possible, so that an expensive school trip, for example, can also be covered. Many families who live independently of social benefits but on a lower monthly income are often unaware that they may be entitled to additional family benefits. It is therefore always worth seeking advice from FvO.

On these dates, friendly staff from the cooperating institutions will be available from 9 a.m. on the first floor of the Social Benefits and Job Center premises at Dotzheimer Straße 99 to advise interested families. Registration is requested at familienleistungenwiesbadende or by telephone on 0611/313753 (opens in a new tab), but it is also possible to drop by spontaneously on this day.
