As an employer, you may be eligible for an integration subsidy if you fill open positions with applicants who are receiving basic income support for job seekers. 

Funding is available if, at the start of the employment relationship, a skills gap (the difference between existing knowledge/skills and the job-specific requirements), an increased need for training, or initially lower work performance must be addressed. Funding may also be provided if there are personal barriers to placement that could make hiring difficult, such as long-term unemployment, health limitations, or a lack of or outdated qualifications.

The integration subsidy can be granted for up to twelve months and cover up to 50 percent of the employee’s wages. In special cases, higher subsidies or longer funding periods are possible. After the funding ends, a post-employment obligation applies, requiring you to continue employing the employee for a specified period.
