To ensure the participation and involvement of Biebrich residents, the Biebrich-Mitte neighborhood management team supports the urban development process as a central, low-threshold point of contact on site. It acts as an interface between politics, administration, and residents, and organizes and moderates the meetings of the Biebrich Citizens' Network (BieNe) as part of the local partnership in the neighborhood. The neighborhood office is sponsored by the International Federation IB Südwest gGmbH. 

In addition, the Biebrich-Mitte neighborhood management supports the decision-making committee of the "Biebrich Citizens' Budget" discretionary fund. This fund enables residents to support projects that benefit the district in an uncomplicated and unbureaucratic manner with up to €5,000. The discretionary fund helps to strengthen local engagement and make the district lively, attractive, and livable.
