New quarter with health-related uses and around 300 apartments
Public participation in the "Östlich der Leibnizstraße" development plan begins.
The closure of the former Bingert Clinic has made land available in Bierstadt for a new neighborhood development in a location that is well-integrated into the urban fabric. The site will feature privately financed and publicly subsidized housing, as well as a daycare center. To sustainably strengthen the area’s role as a healthcare hub, the plan also includes plots designated for healthcare-related uses. The site offers the opportunity to develop a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood characterized by a low-density building structure, open spaces with high amenity value, and good connectivity to the surrounding area.
To establish the necessary planning-law requirements for this, a zoning plan is to be drawn up. The plan’s scope covers an area of approximately 3.5 hectares.
From Wednesday, April 29, through Thursday, May 28, the draft of the development plan can be viewed online at www.wiesbaden.de/auslegung.
