The department’s staff provide comprehensive support for all types of construction projects. They offer construction consulting and oversee building permit procedures for standard and special structures. Construction supervision, structural engineering inspections, structural analysis, and temporary structures are also part of the team’s responsibilities.

Consultations on construction projects and the processing of building permit applications are handled according to regional jurisdiction. To this end, the city has been divided geographically into three areas, and a dedicated team has been formed for each area to handle construction projects within that respective territory.

The geographic division is into the North, East, and West sectors.

Wiesbaden North
: Center, Northeast, Rheingau District/Hollerborn, Sonnenberg, Southeast, and Westend.

Wiesbaden East
: Auringen, Bierstadt, Breckenheim, Delkenheim, Erbenheim, Heßloch, Igstadt, Kastel, Kloppenheim, Kostheim, Medenbach, Naurod, Nordenstadt, and Rambach.

Wiesbaden West:
Amöneburg, Biebrich, Dotzheim, Frauenstein, Klarenthal, and Schierstein.
