WVV Wiesbaden Holding GmbH was founded in May 2000 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the state capital of Wiesbaden.

WVV’s responsibilities are divided into four main areas

• Financial management
• Liaison between subsidiaries, administration, and politics
• Ensuring transparency and identifying opportunities and risks
• Project management of group-wide issues

Since 2016, the Group Audit Department of the State Capital of Wiesbaden (LHW) has been organizationally affiliated with the WVV. The Group Audit Department audits all companies that are included in the LHW’s scope of consolidation as part of the consolidated financial statements.
