Show restaurant serving alcohol
The Hessian Restaurant Act came into force on May 1, 2012. Since then, a catering permit (catering license) is no longer required to operate a restaurant that serves alcohol.
However, the business registration for the serving of alcoholic beverages must be submitted to the business registration office at least six weeks before the start of the restaurant business.
